Silent Noise Wines
Charlie O’Brien grew up surrounded by vines at his parents vineyard and winery Kangarilla Road. One of his first words was ‘tractor’ and ever since he saw his first tractor on the property he was hooked and has loved every aspect of the winemaking process. It is no surprise that he is following in the footsteps of his parents, Kevin and Helen. Charlie’s first offering is a single vineyard Shiraz that owes everything to the noises that made it, yet it sits silently in its bottle. It is only when you have the wine in your mouth that you can really appreciate the noise that will silently speak to you of terroir, history and love - hence the name ‘Silent Noise’.
The branding represents sound waves and is elegant and restrained yet dynamic in its composition and application to bottle, carton and cork.
In addition to the flagship Shiraz, two new varieties have been released under a second tier label. These include a unique blend of Shiraz, Grenache and Zinfandel (S.G.Z) and a Néro Rose. Both wines are friendly, approachable and best enjoyed with friends!
