scosa

scosa (formerly Spastic Centres of South Australia) provides support, services and resources for children and adults with Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities.

scosa required a brand that would present a progressive, contemporary and professional organisation with a very human face that provides a fun and caring environment for its clients. A consultative process was taken - across staff, clients and their families and carers - for a deeper understanding of the organisational culture. Feedback was assessed from a customised questionnaire which formed the base of brand conceptualisation.

Detour developed a brand that had movement, life and positive energy. The branding incorporates a custom built font whilst the circle, unique to the “o” has become a focal point -  a dynamic & flexible branding tool that changes in each application. A circle has many “meanings” relevant & symbolic to scosa’s ambitions & values. A series of sub-messages were created that articulated scosa’s values. Many of these words were compiled from the questionnaire feedback and by including them gave ownership to those involved in its development.

Rebranding application included stationery, brochures, posters, annual report, website, vehicles, outdoor advertising and launch.
