Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation
Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation exists to provide long term independence for Kokatha people - from employment, education and enterprise opportunities, career pathways and self-development for current and future generations. Through the formation of strategic partnerships and alliances, Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation has the economic ability to further develop its organisation and achieve its vision to improve the lives of the Kokatha people.
The 2022-23 and 2023-24 Annual Reports for Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation were designed to communicate key milestones, achievements, and messages in a bold, engaging, and culturally respectful way.
Centred on the theme ‘Caring for Country’, the reports highlight Kokatha’s deep connection to land and water, its commitment to cultural preservation and its collaborative approach with partners and supporters. Strong visual storytelling - through panoramic landscapes, seascapes, and powerful imagery of people and Country - helps bring these values to life. A clean grid layout and striking contrast between text and imagery ensure clarity and accessibility, while reinforcing the central narrative of pride, progress, and cultural resilience.
The 2023–24 report also coincided with a major cultural and community milestone - the 10th anniversary of the Kokatha Native Title Consent Determination. To commemorate this significant event, a special edition calendar was produced, featuring spectacular imagery that celebrates Kokatha Country and culture. Each month highlights a different aspect of the land and people, honouring the strength, resilience and deep connection to Country that defines the Kokatha community.
Together, the report and commemorative calendar offer a visually rich expression of Kokatha pride, purpose and progress - a tribute to the past decade and a confident vision for the future.
